Baby mocs make excellent gifts or footwear choices for your special little sweetie.
I am a Board Certified Pedorthist, and from my perspective, Normal shoes for babies are ridiculous. I have yet to see a baby with shoes on who isn't constantly working to get them off their feet.
Babies seem to have the natural ability of knowing shoes are not good for them. And, in that, babies are smarter than most adults.
Since babies can't speak for themselves, as a Pedorthist, I am speaking for them.
. . . . . .Mocs are made for baby feet. Baby feet consist mainly of flesh and cartilage. At this young age, the bones of the feet are more gristle-like cartilage than bone. Your baby has a lot of growing to do, before he or she has a hardness to his foot. Therefore, baby feet are very moldable. Your baby's feet easily molds to the shoe you put their foot in.
Because I don't actually sell moccasins or slippers online, and a number of individuals were asking for them, I searched and found a company who carries a nice, broad selection.
And, just to be sure I felt comfortable sending my visitors to them, I ordered a pair myself. I was quite impressed. I received them just as they said. I paid no shipping, (no return shipping, if I had have wanted to return them), and no sales tax. Also, they offered me a 60 day return policy.

At this baby age, your little one has a lot of space between his/her bones in her feet, and there are basically no joints developed yet. It takes about 18 years for the foot to become fully developed.
Baby mocs make a lot of sense. They are soft, light-weight and in no way, restrict the foot. That is critical for your baby’s foot development.
